Apple picking Top 9

Updated: July 2019

I love fall. The crisp, fresh air, the beautiful red, yellow, and orange leaves, and of course, apples! Fall is just around the corner, and I must admit I’m ready for crisp fall air. I have visions of homemade apple pie, caramel apples and applesauce in my head, and I could go for a cup of warm apple cider after a relaxing stroll in the park this morning.

Lucky for us, there are several great orchards to visit in the Twin Cities for a fun-filled day of apple picking, and many of these orchards offer so much more than the traditional hayride to your choice of an apple tree. So pack a picnic blanket, grab your camera, and get your family together for a day of exciting activities and good food at some of the best apple orchards in the Twin Cities.

The apple farm also has a play structure to keep the kiddos entertained while parents sit on a picnic blanket and enjoy apple bratwurst and maybe even a glass of wine from St. Croix Vineyards.
