They will show you how to use the equipment, understand and find where the fish live in winter, and practice reeling in the different species of fish that call Bush Lake home.

Ice Fishing: A Minnesota tradition! Whether you’ve never dropped a fishing line into the water, or you are an experienced angler, join us for a morning of wintery fun at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Bloomington. Free transportation from the Powderhorn Recreation Center to the event will be provided. While there will be heated tents please dress for the weather and walking on the ice. This is a FREE event.
