Juneteenth Celebration at Three Rivers Park District – Silverwood Park

Join Three Rivers in a celebration of Juneteenth. This year’s theme is Hope, Promise, Future: Celebrating the legacy of African Americans and looking to the promise of a bright future. Listen to live music, participate in the open mic poetry and spoken word hour, enjoy free canoe rides, yoga and games, check out community vendors and more!
This program is free and open to all ages. Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Stone Arch Bridge Festival 2022

The core of the festival is the 200+ juried artistsOpens in a new tab.. Categories including; photography, painting, jewelry, sculpture, woodworking, ceramics, printmaking, glass and fine crafts.

The festival also hosts three specialty markets:

Culinary Arts Market – located under the Hennepin Avenue Bridge

The Black Market – located on West River Parkway across from Mill City Museum

Vintage and Vinyl Market – located on West River Parkway across from the Guthrie

Two Live Music Stages Featuring 28 Performances
Cities 97.1 Stage presented by ASPIRE is located just north of the Hennepin Ave. Bridge along the Mississippi River.

Star Tribune Stage is located just south of the Stone Arch Bridge next to the food court in the parking lot of Mill Ruins Park.

Family Activities Presented by UCare – Hosted by Mill City Museum
Families will find entertainment and activities in the Mill City Museum courtyard and surrounding area. Open Eye Figure Theater will perform on Sunday at 11:30 am. Check back for more information on all the activities!

Mill City Museum Courtyard activity hours:

  • Saturday 10 am – 3:00* pm
  • Sunday 10 am – 5 pm
    *Activities in the Mill City Museum courtyard will end at 3:00 pm on Saturday.

Art of the Car Display
NEW location: Across from Gold Medal Park and the Guthrie Theater on West River Parkway. The vintage and collected car show runs from 11 am – 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Art in Action: Chalk and Mural Artists
The Art in Action gallery is located near the train bridge towards N 4th St on the walking path along the river.  Hillside Murals will be back painting a mural live throughout the weekend.

Crystal Airport Father’s Day Open House & Fly-In

The event is open to the public and will include airplane and helicopter rides, aircraft displays, children’s activities and fly-overs. Breakfast will be served by the Crystal Lions Club from 8 am – 11 am and the Westphal American Legion will serve lunch for the reminder of the event.

**The event is free but there is a cost for the breakfast and the airplane and helicopter rides.

8 – 11am:

Dad’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast

Historic Hastings Car Show

The Hastings Downtown Business Association along with the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau are extremely excited to announce the return of the 16th Annual Historic Hastings Car Shows in 2022!

Join them on 2nd Street in downtown Hastings the 3rd Sunday of every month May through September from 11 am – 4 pm. This historic main street bordering the Mississippi River fills with classic cars, piped in music, and great food.

Cost to attend and show a car is free. The show is limited to classic cars & trucks 1985 or older.  Gates to enter the show are at the intersection of Tyler Street & 2nd Street.
Gates open at 10 am, cars are parked on a first come, first serve basis.
Remember to bring your wallet, there are lots of delicious restaurants & fun shops to enjoy.
