Drive-By Birthday Visit/Parade:
Invite friends and family to show up in the driveway with a fun birthday poster or banner to hang out their car window and brighten up your child’s special day. You can chat from a safe distance and even sing Happy Birthday together.
You can call around or put it out on Facebook that they could use some cheering up!
Have Some Outdoorsy Fun
If you have somewhere pretty near you like Minnehaha Falls, Three Rivers Park District – take the family on a little trip. Make a picnic lunch if the weather’s nice enough!
Have an At-Home Camp Out:
Set up a tent and campfire, bringing out some blankets, and cover everything in twinkling Christmas lights for a night outside.
King or Queen for the Day:
Every child/teenager deserves to feel like the boss, even if it’s only for 24 hours. Make them the queen or king of the castle for one day and do everything they say
Netflix Party
Have a Netflix Party: You can now start watching a movie WITH friends and chat along with them while you watch. You’ll go to Netflix Party to get started. Once you pick a movie, you’ll receive a link you can send out to others to invite them to join you.
