GIRL TIME FAMILY EVENT AT THE WORKS MUSEUM SEPTEMBER 17TH! 

Discount Tickets & a TICKET 4-Pack GIVEAWAY!

Girls – there’s a special event JUST FOR YOU at The Works Museum in Bloomington on Saturday, September 17th! It’s a Girl Time Family Event – Have fun learning about engineering while exploring lots of hands-on activities and demonstrations presented by women working in engineering, and students in STEM fields!
It’s a great opportunity to spend a day together discovering what engineering is all about and dreaming about future career possibilities in engineering and design! Here’s what you should know!

When: Saturday, 9/17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details and tickets at theworks.org/girls-and-engineering

What: 

  • Drop in with your family and explore presenter activities and demos at your own pace
  • Explore all 15 presenters and the museum with your event admission
  • Upgrade to the “admission + workshop” tickets to add the new Brushbots & ToothpasteWorkshop (10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) to your day
  • Girl Time is designed for girls ages 5-12 and their accompanying grown-ups; please plan to explore the event together
  • Siblings and boys are also welcome
  • Come early – the first 300 kids in the event will receive drawstring bags

Where: The Works Museum, 9740 Grand Ave S., Bloomington

Cost: DISCOUNT TICKETS – $8 Pre-registered. Otherwise $10 at the door. $20 for tickets including the special SciGirls workshop. Members and kids 2 and under are free. No passes or coupons accepted.

Parking: Easy access from 35W and 494 and free parking in The Works Museum’s lot.
