Free “We MUST Breathe” Pop Up Circus!

An event every week that begins at 11:30 AM on Saturday, repeating until August 22, 2020
Provide welcoming space for kids, families, residents to know it is okay to smile, laugh, and be entertained in spite of the despair that is spreading nationwide.
Creating these spaces in times as uncertain as these, are vital to the mental health and social emotional development of our people. As we bear the weight from the police, COVID and general disparity on our hearts, lunges and souls… We MUST Breathe.

Let’s hold space to do some Laugh Joy Healing!
VividBlackPaint is hosting FREE Pop Up Circus Events EVERY Saturday, Weather Allows, from 11:30am-1:00pm through August 2020 as their “We MUST Breathe” Initiative!
Each location will be announced by the Friday.
* Families are encouraged to arrive 30-60mns early to find the event space and save their spot.
* Bring snacks and hydration!
* With keeping our spaces and communities clean, do not leave behind garbage or litter. Take a few minutes to clean up your immediate area before you leave.
* Bring blankets, sunblock, and umbrellas and remain conscious of “physical distancing” best practices.
* Set up your spot at least 6ft away from the person/group next to you.
* Wear a face covering as required by the Mayoral Proclamation Regulation No. 2020-12
* Presenting aerial acts, skits, acrobatics, stilt walking, contortion, painting, storytelling, so on.
* Acts are likely to change each week!
