Families can stop by to pick up a free flower pot and a pollinator seed packet for kids to start their own pollinator gardens next spring and summer. The flower pots and seeds will be given to kids (while supplies last) outdoors near the parking area on the north side of the park where visitors can also see the rose statue titled “Busy as a Bee.” The rose, which is sponsored by Roseville Parks & Recreation, celebrates bees, flowers and their important relationship in the ecosystem. Each flower pot will also contain a special coupon from Grand Ole Creamery & Grand Pizzeria. Social distancing requirements will be enforced, with lines set up for proper spacing as families line up to pick up their flower pots. There will also be a table where families can stop by and pick up a free bee-pollinator informational flyer that will highlight the relationship between bees and pollinators and its importance to the ecosystem. Giveaway while supplies last only–come early to ensure you receive yours!
