A “Shell-ebration” of Art and Nature

Create your own tiny turtle using yarn and mini craft sticks—great for all ages!

Mimic the process of metal casting by pouring colorful melted wax into turtle-shaped molds. Caponi Art Park staff will be on site to assist.
3:30–3:45 p.m. – Office/Studio
Learn about an exciting new sculpture from the artist who made it! Wayne Potratz has been a central figure in Minnesota’s metal casting community for decades and regularly features turtle iconography in his work.
