Spring has Sprung! Our Top 3 Family Event Picks for the Season

We love this warmer weather, especially when it means coming out of hibernation and enjoying the Twin Cities’ top family events. Below are a few of our favorite family event picks for the upcoming season:

Food Allergy Awareness Walk at Mall of America
Saturday March 28 – 8 am
Whether you’ve got an allergy in the family or just need an excuse to keep the kids active, the Food Allergy Awareness Walk supports a great cause and provides allergy friendly treats. Kids can participate in activities, listen to entertainment by Will Hale, or meet mascots from the Minnesota Swarm and St. Paul Saints. Click here for more information and registration.

Disney: Frozen on Ice
Wednesday April 8 – Sunday April 12
After a whole year on repeat, you might be a little sick of Frozen’s ‘Let it Go,’ but we bet the kids aren’t! Take them to see Elsa, Anna and the whole rest of the gang at a truly ‘frozen’ venue—the Target Center’s ice rink. Tickets start at $27, and more information can be found here.

Free Second Saturdays at the Bakken Museum
Saturday March 21 – 10:00 am
The only thing more shocking than free admission at the Bakken Museum might be the exhibits themselves. Located right on Lake Calhoun, the museum features child-friendly, interactive showcases detailing electricity from ancient times to today. Kids can participate in special family day activities and even watch their hair stand on end as they touch a van de Graaf generator. More information can be found here.
